A senior product engineering role on the small core team of a well-funded health tech startup building a consumer platform for clinical trials. You will help shape technical direction, engineering norms and hiring while building with React, Next.js and TypeScript.

What you'll be building
- Infrastructure and product experiences for a two-sided marketplace.
- Tools that help patients find, understand and evaluate promising treatments for their medical conditions.
- Products that help patients navigate the payor-provider system as they assess treatment options.
- Pipelines that make sense of unstructured medical data and translate it into plain English using modern NLP tools.
- Products that plug into existing healthcare operations workflows.
What you'll do
- Build product end to end across the stack, from data engineering to the patient-facing experience.
- Help shape the technical direction, engineering norms and company culture of a small team.
- Balance shipping velocity with engineering excellence, and build systems that compound over time.
- Take part in hiring and help grow the engineering team.
What you'll bring
- Senior-level experience as a product or full stack engineer.
- Strong experience with React, Next.js and TypeScript.
- Comfort working in a small, fast-moving team with a bias to ship.
- Good product judgment and a preference for simple, proven technology.
Nice to have
- Experience building marketplace products.
- Background in health tech or working with medical data.
- Experience with NLP or LLM tooling for working with unstructured data.
- Experience with AWS or Google Cloud.
